Raine and Reigning Supreme April 26, 2008 Recently, I had an opportunity to shoot a performance of Raine Maida (ex front man from "Our Lady Peace" days ) who appeared at The Phoenix Concert Hall in Toronto for his Hunter's Lullaby Tour, Band mates include wife Chantel Kreviazuk After several years of shooting thousands of photos, of hundreds of various independent bands, I finally managed to impress the number one daughter with an autograph and photos of a few bodies who she deemed "celebrity status"... or at least names that she was very familiar.
Touring with the Maida troop were Jared Paul, spoken word "slam poetry" artist
and Billy the Kid who heads up her own band "Billy and the Lost Boys".
Mom reigned supreme in the girlie's good book ... at least for 15 minutes. Just as I was leaving the house, she came bounding down the stairs with an "Our Lady Peace" CD and slipped it into my bag as I ran out the door. Good ole Mom even managed to have a photo snapped with Raine .... for posterity.
