Guys and Dolls

Wednesday July 6th was my "baby  girl's"  birthday.

Twenty years have flown by since 2:38 am July 6th, 1985

I'm not REALLY getting that OLD .....am I ??

I made her a "doll" cake every year from the time she was 2 until around 10 years old.

For some reason this year, she decided that another  doll cake was in order,

 but the icing wasn't being very cooperative in the

heat and humidity. 

If only every one knew that the main ingredient of icing was shortening - yep that's  right

 PURE  unadulterated FAT, they might

 think twice about snarfing it down, even if it does look tasty.  haha

Hmmm, although it doesn't appear to have affected the appetite here.........LOL

Doesn't seem so long ago  she liked to hang around the folks and  play  with youthful toys,

Now she's a grown  woman who sings a different line and found herself a  " boy".
