September 17, 2006 Navajo Steel Back in the spring I shot a few images for my friend Andre Skinner and the boys from Canteen Knockout.
Friday September 15th, 2006 the band proudly released their first full length CD (Navajo Steel) at their kickass party held at the Cadillac Lounge on Queen Street West, Toronto.
The boys played to a full house and very receptive crowd.
Oh yah, and I'm now officially "published"... *S*.
I even have it in print for posterity...
( I think my fifteen minutes of fame is some what fleeting. lol )
Shawn Sage opened for CKO accompanied by Colleen Costello (R), Mitch Girio - bass and Matt hiding in the back with his drums. (Mitch and Matt were borrowed from the Shakedown Crue)
Accomplished artist, photographer, professor and musician Arthur Renwick heading up his own Shakedown Crue .
I I have the feeling that the boys partied on til the wee hours of the morning, but I was worn out and high tailed my ass-ets, outta there around 2:30am. Congratulations Andre, Alex, Scott and Jake!!
