Bikini Bonanza

Today was a gorgeous day to be spending down by the lakefront and I had the opportunity to do so while joining a friend who was invited to participate as a judge in a swim suit/ bikini contest held at "The Docks"  in Toronto. The drive was a breeze and the parking even easier. I couldn't have been more surprised to just roll into the lot next to the complex and pay a mere five bucks in downtown Toronto, for the whole day.

I really don't have much interest in taking photos of bikini clad women, but what the heck I took my camera in case any photo cps should arise with well built members of the other gender.

Turns out there were a few, but I wasn't quite fast enough to capture an image while um.....ogling.

I did however have a chance to meet John Duncan of Swim Suit Canada.

One very friendly, outgoing individual who obviously loves his job.

Dana McKiel  a sport announcer /Associate Producer from Rogers Television was

also a judge and chatted with us for some time prior to the competition.

Ever wonder why guys love those mirrored shades.....

That's NOT my hand on the girlie's shoulder... it belongs to Robert, the Sun's Sunshine boy for July 3, 2004

His "fifteen minutes of fame"  provided enough shade for the long hot afternoon in the sun ...... <evil grin>

As much as I'd love to take credit for the above remark, the girlie beat me to it.

Okay, so I did it........

ended up taking a few pics of those bikini clad girls since the guys had already had their day in the Sun.

Of course, I couldn't resist a little, ah hem.........behind the scenes shot to finish off the day.

and and since "they" are made  in pairs,  well you can understand why there are two images .....LOL
