September 20, 2004 Wasted Day - Pissed Off and ready to kill.
I spent the entire day sitting on my butt, updating this site. Deleting images that no longer had links but were taking up space. Adding some new images to galleries. Changing my home page to center the text and add some pics in a column on both sides for a little pizzaz Around 6pm, I went to get dinner and left Front Page idle with the comp on. Upon returning, the fricken machine was running sooooo slowly, I couldn't add or change any text on my home page and the images I had added there wouldn't budge, no matter how hard I pounded the $*#&^*#^$ mouse, along with some persuasive expletives. I am so bloody mad I could kill. Good thing I'm the sweet and non-violent type *blink, blink* LMAO I am thankful for just ONE thing at this moment. I backed up the entire web site after updating it in the wee hours of Sunday morning when I finished adding the newest gallery. SMART MOVE. So after exercising my lungs and reassuring myself that my vocabulary is well equipped to apply for a position at sea, I finally decided to scrap all of today's efforts and restore the home page and the rest to last night's version. You won't notice any esthetic chances or pics. Just the same ole, same ole. Maybe later in the week I'll have cooled off enough to take another stab at it...... that is after I BACK UP everything again
