Wendy's
passion for photography was rekindled many years
ago while exploring the nuances of the human tapestry in black and
white fine art nudes. She particularly enjoyed the changing
moods and effects obtained with a variety
of light combinations that danced subtle shadows across
the multitude of bodily curves.
Over the past five years, Wendy has honed her
photographic
skills and gained extensive experience capturing live concert
performances. The results have produced
countless works of art showcasing emerging Canadian and International talent
as well as numerous established musicians and artists.
Wendy specializes in capturing images utilizing
natural light, which on occasion may be artificially supplemented to render
photographs that evoke the emotion, energy and excitement of life's
fleeting moments.
Many of her photos grace not only this site, but the
pages of IndieCan Radio, one of Canada's most ardent
supporters and promoters of independent music in Canada.

Event coverage includes, but is not limited to the
annual Toronto International Film Festival Canadian Music Cafe,
Canadian Music Week, North by North East (NXNE), Indie Week Toronto, The Polaris Music Prize
Gala, Pride Toronto, XM Satellite The Verge Music Awards, TIMA,
Hillside Festival, plus numerous other music performances.
Wendy has been honoured over the years to provide event coverage
for corporate functions such as Mount Sinai Hospital's Da Vinci Gala, plus numerous fundraising activities for the
Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation. The generosity of hospital staff and patrons is always astounding and she feels privileged to
support
these life changing community events.
Wendy's photography interests are wide, varied and
continue to grow as she looks forward to and welcomes the opportunity of new
challenges.
